Raukawa Whanau Ora (RWO) is a kaupapa Maori organisation that imbeds Kaupapa Tuku Iho (inherited values) to deliver whanau centred services – Health, Social Services and Educational services. The organisation delivers from a whanau ora approach to provide services to all who wish to utilise them. We work alongside individuals and their whanau, providing a free, confidential service.
Area Coverage: Ngati Raukawa ki te Tonga. (Otaki, Levin, Shannon, Foxton, Palmerston North, Feilding & Bulls). This includes all the outskirts of the rohe.
Access: Self or whanau referral
Referrals from other sources e.g., general practices, Lead Maternity Carers (LMC), & other organisations.
(Exception: Toitu Te Ora – single point of entry through Community Probation)
Referral Process: On receipt of referral you will receive an acknowledgement letter confirming your acceptance to the service.
You will then be contacted by the kaimahi within the service to arrange an appointment for you/ whanau. Please be aware that there may be a wait list and this will be conveyed to you.
